Another spring gardening day...

Since a leaf has already made it to the surface I decided now would be a good time to bring up all the pond plants and clean out the gunk on the bottom. I should learn to mark the pots - I can't tell what's what now. We'll see in a couple of weeks what has survived. The hardy water lily is what is growing already. The other plant that is springing to life is I believe the bog lily. It will be interesting to see what comes to life in the next couple of weeks.

I started my malabar spinach inside today -the cats have decided to use the raised bed where I planted the regular spinich as a toilet so I don't know if it will grow.

Wintersowing: I see a tomato sprout...better late than never! I may have a tokyo onion growing (or it could be grass lol).

Now I'm going to start my red yucca seed in a pot inside.
